Finn Foundation

F.I.N.N. Foundation

Our Mission

The F.I.N.N. Foundation (Filling International and National Needs) was founded to serve local, national and international medical needs by filling in gaps in medical services. Funds will be used for medicines, devices, supplies, materials and treatments not otherwise covered by insurance or government programs. The F.I.N.N. Foundation is staffed by volunteers so that 100% of each contribution will directly benefit those we help. We do not discriminate by race, gender, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. Funds will be distributed on as needed basis at the discretion of the board of directors. We hope to provide life changing healthcare and education for needy and deserving individuals in our community, our nation and overseas.

The F.I.N.N. Foundation was created after the needs of a local young man were brought to the attention of Dr. Finn. See Chad’s remarkable story here. Simultaneously a medical mission trip to Guatemala was being organized to change the lives of over 25 Guatemalans.  By both of these situations presenting themselves at the same time, we were made aware of the need for an avenue for those willing to donate funds towards our cause. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of financial donations and support of friends, patients and fellow doctors. Hence, the creation of The F.I.N.N Foundation.

FINN Foundation is  an official Non-Profit 501 C-3 organization so all donations are tax deductible!

TROSA (Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers, Inc)

The FINN Foundation has made moves to further help in our local community. We have partnered with TROSA on a two-year residential program. The purpose of our program is to give people more than sobriety – it’s to give them the tools they need to rebuild their lives and maintain their sobriety when they leave TROSA. Key elements of our program include vocational training, education, peer counseling/ mentoring, leadership training, and aftercare. The FINN Foundation will help graduating residents improve their self esteem by removing the emotional and physical scars of their past. We will be providing services such as scar revision, tattoo and gang symbol removal, and excisions of moles and cysts.  We are excited to begin helping in a new way in our local community!
